When you think about Cheap Land in the USA, you usually get a mental image of some dustbowl in Texas or surroundings States.

You dont think of sub tropical Florida with its booming economy and constant stream of inward bound residents.

Yet Florida has an abundance of cheap housing blocks, ready to go, financed by the vendor, in normal suburban areas.

I have seen prices start as low as $7,000 for a residential block with $100 down and no credit check. These cheap properties in Florida would have to be one of the best bargains on the planet – if you like the idea of moving to Florida.

Whilst many people look around for cheap land bargains, let us not forget that at the moment there is a glut of very , very cheap housing available in the USA.
Cities like Detroit have hundreds of houses listed for sale at less than $3000 – some down as low as $500. Why? The banks just want to get these off their hands – the payment usually just goes to the Real estate agent to cover their costs.
Whats the catch – most of these probably need some work on them before they can be rented out – usually in the $10,000 – $20,000 range.
And then there are the annual city fees – usually in the $1,000 -$2,000 ball park.
But, for the astute investor – these are real bargains and a significant profit can be made if you are the right person. And where else can you buy houses so cheap?
Detroit and Cleveland offer great opportunities at the moment – why not have a look?

Not exactly a tropical paradise, but a nice solid island!
And this purchase includes two parcels of land: an island and a waterfront parcel. The waterfront lot is 1/4 acre with 68 feet on the Bras d`Or Lakes and a right-of-way across the railroad track. The other parcel is a small island sitting a few hundred yards from shore and is approximately 3/4 acre.
0.8 acres for under $30,000 Canadian is a very good deal.
Boating, fishing, and relaxing yet not too far from civilisation.

One shouldnt be surprised to see that there are budding entrepreneurs willing to sell you land on Mars. Yes, thats Mars the planet.
At the Marsshop you can buy an acre of Mars for $19.99 plus postage and handling, of course.
Not to be outdone, the Find me a Gift website , also wants to sell you a nice acre of Martian soil.

Be careful though, the guy who owns the Mars shop thinks he owns the solar system, and whilst he attempts to use logic to sustain his claim, the reality is that the Might is Right and your certificate will amount to nothing if you cant be there to defend your plot from invading hordes

Feeling a little locked out of cheap land here on Earth.
