Cheap Houses USA – how low can you go!

Whilst many people look around for cheap land bargains, let us not forget that at the moment there is a glut of very , very cheap housing available in the USA.
Cities like Detroit have hundreds of houses listed for sale at less than $3000 – some down as low as $500. Why? The banks just want to get these off their hands – the payment usually just goes to the Real estate agent to cover their costs.
Whats the catch – most of these probably need some work on them before they can be rented out – usually in the $10,000 – $20,000 range.
And then there are the annual city fees – usually in the $1,000 -$2,000 ball park.
But, for the astute investor – these are real bargains and a significant profit can be made if you are the right person. And where else can you buy houses so cheap?
